First Thing's First: Registering

Voter Registration Form Online

http://www.sbe.virginia.gov/cms/documents/VoterRegistration/sbe_voter_app_DOJ-Printed.pdf

1. Print this out
2. Mail to your county's voter registration office (the addresses are on page two)

Be sure to register (and update information like your address) long before Nov. 2. There are definitely cutoffs to make these changes depending on where you are in the Commonwealth.

Why this site exists

I've created this blog as a resource for young Virginia voters to:

-Know who's running in their respective districts
-Know how candidate stand on relevant issues
-Understand what the issues are
-Know how to get involved with issues beyond election day

I will attempt to aggregate accurate information from trusted sources around the web as well as conduct hands-on reporting with elected officials as time permits.

Virginia is as swing-state-y as they come and the 18-24 bloc is a sought-after demographic for blue and red candidates alike.

However,

We will not leave it to attack ads to inform us.
We will not underestimate our influence on local and state campaigns.
We will not succumb to the stereotype that we are disengaged and apathetic.

Thanks for visiting and I hope we can all learn something through this project!
